Jack Beam
Mid-days 9:30am - 2:00pm |
Jack Beam grew up in Harrison County,
went to school at North Harrison, and was a member of the 2000 Class C State
Champion Marching Cougars! After a couple of years going to school at IUS,
Jack went down to West Palm Beach, Florida, to jump into the field of
broadcasting! Jack got his start in radio in early 2005 as a promotions
intern for some stations down in Louisville. After running around and
making copies for about 7 months, he finally got to start pushing buttons
and getting paid! Since then he's done several things including
producing/anchoring morning traffic before finally ending up at the I-105.3
family. Jack is thankful for the opportunity that he has at WMPI, and is
enjoying all his new friends at the station, and on the air from Over the
Back Fence and the Mid-Day cafe. When he's not doing something that
involves radio, you'll usually find him cheering on the Colts or the
University of Kentucky Wildcats |

has been home schooling her daughters and being the best mother she can be.

R.J. Curtis
Weekdays 2-7pm |
RJ was born in Scottsburg and raised in a home of classic
country and southern rock. His first words were “Mama, play some
Haggard"! RJ moved to Florida in the early '80's where he learned to
love beaches, blondes and tan lines (or no tan lines). His Mom was the
biggest influence on him when it came to music. “I listen to all type’s
of music, but country was the one kind I always could connect to”, RJ
says. “It had a lot to do with my family, and the way I grew up”. He
first got into the radio business in 1995 by being an intern at WZZR,
hired by WPAW in 1998 then moving to WAVW in 2000. Hurricanes are a way
of life in Florida, and after living through the worst of 2 major ones
in 2005. He decided to go back to his roots, and move back to Southern
Indiana. Not sure if Florida, or Southern Indiana should be happy about
that one. I guess time will decide that one. |

Jeff Stewart
Weekdays 7-Mid |
Jeff first fell in love with radio
listening to the great WEAM in Virginia.
He knew then he wanted to make people
smile, and feel good, just as his radio heroes did.
He also listened to the great Jeff
Douglass on 84-WHAS in Louisvillean early radio hero, Gary Burbank "snow
sharks, anybody?", and the talented zanies at the great WKLO.
Jeff loves the Pittsburgh Steelers,
Penn State Nitnany Lions, and knows that Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, is
God's Country. He's also grateful to J.R. for getting him hooked on the
"Andy Griffith Show," and hopes he can make somebody smile or forget their
troubles for just a few moments.
